Years ago, during a remodel and reorg, I shared an office with an instructor/professor of Chinuk-wawa. During that time, he taught a teleconference course with other colleges in the Pacific Northwest on the other side of the room. I would sit at my desk with headphones on. But I became curious and started listening to some of the lessons, when I could. I remember only a few words, but now I often answer all my phone calls with "klahowya".
