Sip was originally the experiment of an ancient wizard's lab in Waterdeep. But over time the wizard treated Sip more and more like a child. They studied magic together until the ancient wizard finally grew old and passed away. After that Sip took on the persona of the wizard. Sip scavenges the realm for any magical lore so that they might reconnect with the wizard.
